One gynaecologist and obstetrician, Adewale Akintoyose, for Thursday talk say make women dey chop plenty of green vegetables and fruits say E dey reduce endometriosis.

Mr. Akintotose wey dey St Leo’s Hospital for Lekki Phase One, Lagos tell the News Agency of Nigeria talk say if you chop better food dey stop women from catching sickness.

Mr Akintoyose talk say na between 20 per cent and 50 per cent of women wey dem dey treat na hin get endometriosis.
Similarly, na like 80 per cent of women wey get chronic pelvic fit get ham too.
He say the sickness plenty among women and E fit no show symptoms and E fit lead to painful menstruation.

Endometriosis  dey happen between their reproductive years and the average age range na between 25 years and 40 years.
E dey happen when the cells abi the lining of the uterus don dey grow outside the uterus, wey we dey call endometriosis implant.

All these implant na for the ovaries, the fallopian tubes, the outer surfaces of the uterus or intestine and the pelvic cavity, we dey see ham.
He talk say the common symptoms of endometriosis na: pain during menstruation, painful sexual intercourse, infertility and lower abdominal pain.

He talk say the other symptoms na: diarrhoea, chronic fatigue, painful urination, blood for the urine and constipation.
Mr. Akintoyose talk say women wey get endometriosis fit get some kind of ovarian cancer wey be: Epithelial Ovarian Cancer.

He talk make dem dey delay pregnancy till dem old or early menstrual period and late menopause fit be factors wey dey increase the risk of endometriosis for women.

He advise women say make dem no dey chop red meat because say E fit cos endometriosis.
Mr. Akintoyose talk dem fit treat endometriosis with drugs and surgery so E go relieve women of the pains.
